Cameo says:There is so much to unpack w/ this movie but overall I enjoyed it. I’m glad that they attempted to tackle important issues like racism, police brutality, & BLM even if I wasn’t always sure what the message was supposed to be. It felt like they added in the black drug dealer villain & the white boyfriend to try & make the story more appealing to all but some people will hate this movie no matter what they do so I don’t entirely understand why they bothered. It could have been shorter & more concise if it had just focused on Khalil’s death but still I thought it was pretty good & worth checking out if you support the BLM movement. |
